Editorial policy
How we work, and what you may hold us to.
What we publish
We write about interest-free home financing in the Netherlands: how the structures work, what they cost, and what is changing in the market and the rules. We publish explanation and research. We do not give financial advice.
How a piece gets written
For claims about fiqh, legislation and provider terms we name the source. For calculations we show the assumptions, so you can check them or argue with them. Where something is uncertain we write that down rather than smoothing it over.
Providers
When we write about a provider we set out their terms as published, and say what we asked and what we were told. If a provider does not respond, that is in the piece too.
Interests
Where a commercial or personal relationship exists with a party we write about, we disclose it in the article itself and not only in the small print.
Corrections
We fix errors visibly. See the Corrections page for how that works.
